1.2 “Terms” refers to the latest version of these Terms and Conditions document available on the ‘Stuttgart International Spirits Competition’ website.
1.3 “Site” refers to the website of the ‘Stuttgart International Spirits Competition’ available at
1.4 “User/you/your” refers to any person who is downloading, visiting, using or in any other way interacting with the Site or its respectful Content (see 1.8) regardless of the activities taken.

1.9 “Service” refers to delivery of information through the Site or any related mobile or software application.

2.2 These Terms govern the use of the Site, Content, and Services. These Terms also regulate the Stuttgart International Spirits Competition logo licensing terms.
2.3 Terms apply to all Users regardless of the way, purpose or instruments used in accessing the Site or Content.
3.1 The Site is available to Users located all around the world, so it is upon you to assess whether visiting the Site or using our Services is in compliance with any local laws and regulations. Whenever you are visiting our Site or using our Services you will need to comply with these Terms and any applicable laws, regulations and policies. If any part of the Site or the Services is not in compliance with your local laws, you may not use the Site and the Services. Any such Service will be considered as ‘not available in your country’.
IV CHANGING OUR TERMS
4.1 We reserve the right to update and change the Terms periodically without notifying the Users. The current version of Terms is available on the Site indicating the effective date.
Users are encouraged to periodically review Terms in order to stay informed on any changes.
4.2 Users are bound by any changes to the Terms regardless of their knowledge about them, provided that changes were published and available for review.
6.1 As part of our Services we provide ratings and scores of spirits submitted to the Stuttgart International Spirits Competition. All ratings and scores are administered by the team of professionals. We do not accept user reviews nor do we consider them when assessing the spirits.
6.2 We aim to keep the Content up to date and to provide the best service possible. You understand that the content available on the site is for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for any consequence of your reliance on such information.
VII LICENCE AND INTELECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
7.1 Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub licensable license to use the Site. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not: copy, modify or create derivative works based on the Site and Content; distribute, transfer, sublicense, lease, lend or rent the Site or Content to any third party; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Site; or make the functionality of the Site available to multiple users through any means.
7.2 The Site is Copyright © 2017 Republic GmbH, all rights reserved. You must reference the Site, its respectful owners, and authors of the content where available if you are using content for non-commercial use. Trademarks, service marks, logos and copyrighted works available on the Site are the sole property of Republic GmbH, our affiliates, or used under appropriate licenses. Usage for commercial purposes is strongly prohibited without obtaining our prior written permission.
7.3 If you post content on the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content on the Site and on any other marketing material we may create. Whenever we might use the User generated content we will give appropriate credit to the content provider through their account username. Except before mentioned usage of user-generated content, you retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in content which you submit, post or display on or through the Services.
VIII RULE OF CONDUCT
8.1 During your use of our Services, you will not behave contrary to the Terms, Policies, applicable laws and regulations, and you will especially not, without limitation, do anything of the following:
(i) send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications (such as spam) on the Site;
(ii) collect users’ content or information, or otherwise access the Site, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission;
(iii) upload viruses or other malicious code;
(iv) provide any false information on the Site;
(v) post or transmit content which is illegal, hateful, obscene, threatening, incites violence, insulting, defamatory, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy, or contains graphic or gratuitous violence or is otherwise objectionable to third parties;
(vi) take any action creating a disproportionately large usage load on the Site unless expressly permitted by us;
(vii) delete, hide, remove or modify any Content or communication of the Site or of other individuals’ other than yourself.
IX THIRD – PARTY CONTENT
11.1 You will indemnify and hold harmless Republic GmbH, and its employees and affiliates, from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site and its Services, content which you provide, or your violation of these Terms.
XII STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS
12.1 You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising of or related to use of the Site, Services or the Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
13.1 WARRANTY DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. NONE OF THE PARTIES INVOLVED IN CREATING, PRODUCING, AND/OR DELIVERING THE SERVICES AND THE SITE ARE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES, COSTS, OR EXPENSES OF ANY KIND WHICH MAY ARISE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, THROUGH ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR BROWSING THE SITE OR THROUGH YOUR DOWNLOADING OF CONTENT FROM THE SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANYTHING CAUSED BY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, OR PROGRAM MALFUNCTIONS, OR ANY OTHER ERRORS, FAILURES, OR DELAYS. IN NO EVENT WILL REPUBLIC GMBH, OR ANY OF OUR AFFILIATES OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS, OR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR OF THE INABILITY TO USE ANY CONTENT ON THE WEBSITE.
13.2 SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
XV FINAL PROVISIONS
15.1 If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, it will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the Terms. The section titles in the Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. Any failure to exercise or enforce any right or the provision of this agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
